This is lovely, I enjoy your post very much. I feel they are guided greatly by spirit and are the Universes way of sending me signs when I need them. Thank you. :)

Sarah, thanks for this post. I have just returned from 3 weeks at our place in the Davis Mountains, where I always use the time to rest, read, walk, draw a little and reflect a bit. We are pretty much alone, George and I, and the pace is slow and quiet. I love it for the first 2 or so weeks, and then I find that I need to connect (with someone other than George, with all due love) and hasten my pace. I call this the "heebie jeebies." My pattern is that I have a day of the heebies, and then I settle down for the rest of our stay. It does make me grateful for our mountain place and grateful for our home and life in Corpus Christi.

I too am a big Kazantzakis fan. I've read Zorba and The Lat Temptation of Christ.

What a lovely reflection to start the new year. After many months of enclosure and magnification, I recently had a burst of emergence. Wham, it was time to let my work free upon the world. Looking forward to your book!
