Thank you, Sarah, for this "On Sick Time" essay. I like this line best: "The clash between regimented artificial time and the ebb and flow of natural time create my deepest time conflicts." I was thinking the other day whether it would be possible to break the bonds of conventional time, like living two days at a time. It might be a good exercise to count the number of timers and clocks and other timekeepers we regularly engage in our lives.

What are the odds -- Laurence I just ordered Bluebonnet Sutras after having it on my Bookshop wishlist for some time but not remembering when I put it there or when I first heard about it. And then just today we both read the same post and you comment.

I highly recommend Slow Time by Waverly Fitzgerald. It took me a lot of discipline to do the weekly prompts and practices, so it helped that I worked through it in a support group setting with my women's spiritual journaling group.

Hi, Louise!

That IS quite a coincidence.

I’m happy to hear my book will soon be with you. I hope you find a friend in it.
